I ordered before noon that same day. However, I purchased the wifi version w/o Special Offers. Maybe those ship out later for some reason.

I also ordered the Wi-Fi (I would virtually never use the 3G even if I had it) without Special Offers (I don't want ads on my books, even if they're useful ones, and that's what ads on my Kindle would feel like to me) version. Probably the 10 hours or so between us makes a big difference.

The good news...my Kindle Voyage is on the way! In fact, it'll probably be "Out for Delivery" within the hour!!

The bad news? I'm working 12 hours today, so I won't get home until after 7 pm tonight. Much as I would like to call in sick to play with my new toy, I can't, because A) it'll look fishy because it's my birthday, and B) a client is taking me out for a birthday lunch.

But believe me, I'll be keeping my eye on this website for the first impressions!

My deliveries had so many issues with them that Amazon rarely uses them to ship to me anymore, FedEx either - my packages always looked like they'd been drop-kicked. Mine is coming USPS from San Bernadino. Hope the decent weather holds up here.
