My status changed from yesterday's - nothing going on here - to "We are processing your shipment now. We'll send you an e-mail when it has shipped. You can still request cancellation if you’ve changed your mind."

Mine's not due to arrive until next week, so maybe they found those stashed KVs.

I believe I have one very near by me. I'm in WA. I'm hoping that's where the hidden Kindles are stashed. I also pay tax on everything, but then I did in FL, too. No diff...

If you go to "Your Account" and page down to "Settings," under "Account Settings," you'll see a selection called "Manage Shipment updates via Text." It's pretty basic to set up. It might work out for your pending shipment.

I find it invaluable as I can get home in time to make sure my packages are there for me rather than for anyone else (meaning a thief).

I wonder if they were trying to create hype by having them "sell out" faster during the preorder period... if they're magically getting shipped faster now that seems like a very real possibility

If it looks as good as the engadget review pictures, it's worth the price.

I'll try to post something depending on when I get it tomorrow.

After I set up the WiFi, etc, the next thing I'm going to do is delete all the dictionaries and user guides for the languages I don't read. Then I'll duplicate all my content from my KPW2. That should give me a little hands on to comment on.

For anyone with a shipped status, did you choose 1 day delivery? I have prime and I ordered on 9/18 with 2 day delivery. My delivery estimate is still 10/29.
