Sorry, there's pretty much only one place to redeem codes on Comixology and I thought it didn't require explanation.

Nope. A step's missing. At Comixology, one must specify exactly what item one wants first, and THEN go to the redeem page and enter the code. Hence, my request for the specific url for the item. Many items are returned when I type in "Batman Annual #26" or various derivations thereof.

I went through the exact process I detailed and that's how I got the comic in question can't say why it won't work for you.
