That's what I'm hoping, but no one really knows until it starts arriving. The wait is killing me. Due to the price I didn't jump right on board. The good news there is that I can hear what the new owners are saying and be better informed when it does get here. Saving grace.

True, but the bezel should not cause page turns, ever. Only the screen should activate page turns. My PW1 activates turns from the bezel - I'm not the only one with the problem and it makes reading and holding my PW1 miserable. I think Amazon decided to turn that issue into a boon with the Voyage.

I don't suppose you bought the extended Warrenty with your PW1? If you did and it's still in Warrenty I'd get your PW1 replaced.

According to another poster you could still give it a shot out of warranty and they might give you a full original refund! Tell them you're thinking of giving the Kobo H2O a shot and they might upgrade you to a Voyage.

Holy crap, now that's cursed. I've never had any major issues with a Kindle or a Kobo, outside of one Aura HD replacement due to a screen issue. At least you can use the return policy if the Voyage turns out to be less than ideal due to software issues. I'm half afraid we'll see posts about the bezel being too sensitive or the light not being sensitive enough to ambient lighting changes.

I love Amazon, and practically live my life there, but when I called during normal business hours PST, asked for and got a US rep on, she was like "meh, so?". I told her nicely what was going on and she didn't even care. Period. I didn't even get an email from her to get feedback, and that's a good thing. Her response, in addition to my PW1 issues, is what made me look seriously at Kobos this time around. I'm still kinda stunned by her response.

LOL The more I take my glasses off or my contacts out, the better my PW1 screen looks. Seriously though, mine is very blotchy.

Ditto. Same with my PW1 and my K3 (two had bad gaps). On the last two Kindle gens the least bad won.
