Links on Ebook

I am a complete beginner here so you will have to dumb down responses for me a bit. but as an author I use calibre to publish my works on amazon. I want to put links to my other works at the end of the book. I tried using the hyperlink in word and it works while in calibre but when I downloaded one of the books to my ipad using the kindle app you get a "We're Sorry This application is not currently supported" when clicking on the hyper link.

Did I do this wrong ? Is it not working because it is an ipad app and the link works on a regular kindle device ?
