Kobo Aura H2O covers - Page 6

I have the official H20 sleepcover, and it works well. I haven't had a problem with the reader turning itself off and on because of a weak magnetic closure. The sleepcover fits the H20 tightly so the reader doesn't wiggle around in it, and all ports are readily accessible. It doesn't add much bulk, either. The only drawback is how expensive it is, but it does what it's supposed to and does it well, in my opinion.

Odd. I find the closure on mine works well enough and I haven't had it turn on unexpectedly in my laptop bag. The back is a bit oddly shaped but it matches the shape of the H2O's back for a snug fit and maintains the shape of the H2O's back which I find comfortable to hold.

The only issue I have is that I often fold the front cover over when I am reading and I'm not certain as to how well that portion of the case is going to last.

I've just ordered the Gecko Protection Cover Deluxe, which seems very reasonably priced, and much more the kind of thing I'm looking for. I don't like this Odyssey cover at all.

Yep, I ordered one of those, just waiting for it to arrive now using a massive case I bought for a fiver from Sainsburys as a stop gap

I have that one for the Aura (6"), and it's fine at the beginning, but it becomes loose after a couple of weeks, so you have to be a bit careful the reader doesn't slip out of the cover. The finish in the edges is not very good either, and it will crack and detach where the spine bends. At least that is my experience with both the original specimen and the replacement one they sent.

I'm interested with this one too but for a similar cover on ebay they say: "you have to take the kobo out to charge"

Mine just arrived. I can confirm that you can open the rubber cover with the case on. They have a cut out at the back bottom to allow you to easily access it. It's slightly thinner then my Aura HD with the Kobo cover which surprised me. The screen cut out is about the same size as the actual screen though and I'm having trouble getting it to stay all the way to the right. Hopefully it just needs to be worn in.

Are there any cutouts in the bezel part of the cover for the logo? This would make it a no-go for me. Thanks.

No logo cutout. It's a solid cover around the front bezel.
