Yes we do! What first HQ are you going to read? I'm sitting here with endless covers trying to figure that out. I am think a SIM maybe. Oh gosh so many choices here! Maybe I'll just pick one at random.

Yeah, I am a bit overwhelmed too. I picked Anne Stuarts "Ice" series as first. I read the first, so I'll read "Cold as Ice". I also added some Michelle Willingham historicals, I like her books. Still trying to sift through.
Let me recommend the Kasey Michaels "Redgrave" series. I love it. I am reading the 4th now. First one is "What an Earl wants". Has a great mystery woven through.

SIM is Silhouette Intimate Moments which IMO was the best Harlequin Imprint ever. Adding the Kasey and Willinham books to my Library.

I own the ice series but I do love that even if I own a book I don't have to go looking for it to add to my tablet if it's on Scribd I can just read it on there.

Now I am even more excited about the Fire 6. 14 days til I can see how I like reading on it. Scribd will be the first thing I try!

OMG.....not romance, but they have Gold Eagle books!!! James Axler Deathland series, and Mack Bolan books, who knows what else. These are never in the libraries! (Of course I can't find the two that I need to read next....)

I never read a lot of Harlequin, outside the lines they had in Germany when I lived there. So I am not very familiar with this line. Searching on Scribd is a bit useless, but searching on goodreads does bring up a bunch. Any favorites you can recall? Or are they all pretty good.

Any SIM that is written by Justine Davis , umm I haven't read a SIM I haven't like but Sharon Sala's SIMs are some of my Favorite. Ryder's Wife, Roman's Heart, Royal's Child, Then there is her other series Miracle Man , When You Call My Name.

Some of my Favorite Xmas stories are SIM too

Scribd on the new Fire HD 6" tablet:

I spent some time reading last night, and I really did enjoy how it looked. Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to block app updates. But since I side loaded it, maybe I am safe? Anyway, as long as it doesn't update to some ridiculous margin setting, I will keep Scribd for awhile, simply for the James Axler novels.

The Scribd sideloaded from Play wont update. If you sideloaded from the Scribd site then it has it's own updater included and will ask you before it updates. I got the little pop up on my KF last night and told it to remind me later but you can check a box to skip the update.

Oh, good! I assume I have the Play version, downloaded it from a random site on the web. So I should be safe.

Instead of trusting a random site (of course might be your only choice if looking for older versions) where you don't know about the files source I recommend either doing the official download from Scribd...

Problem is you can't get the older version that way. 3.6.2 was last version before they messed up the margins. I sent them a email about this today and got told they would pass it along. I told them I would be looking to go with a new service if the problem wasn't fix or old version stops working.

It's like reading a bookmark now the margins are huge!

Do the black bar thingies go away on the 6 inch? The one on top that has the battery, time and such and the bottom with the back, home buttons.
On my Old Fire HD they both stay there while in Scribd which was really annoying to me. One of the reasons I got the Nexus. Just wondering if the newer fires fixed that issue. With 3.6.2 of course. As its been said, I too can't use the current new 3.7 version due to margins and hyphenation.

The new fires and 2013 ones will have immersion mode soon. I don't think it's available yet but it's coming in a future update from Amazon.
