I am banking on a new iPad with real stylus support, which the graphic could be alluding to.

Also, I love the current iPod touch form factor, and I bought one even though I really had no need for one. They should sell an iWatch with built-in SIM to go with it, so I can go running with a small phone watch, but can use a larger screen if I wish.

Same here. I watched the announcement live in 2012, and when it was over, I rushed over to apple.com to grab a Nano 6G before they got discontinued. Sadly, I could only get my hands on a refurb device, all new 6G Nanos were already gone.
I'd love something the form factor of the 6G Nano with built-in phone and GPS. But I digress...

Read about this little bit of helpful information just now for those stuck with using 8.0.2 on their iPad 2's.

Settings>General>Accessibility>Reduce Motion turn "On"

Apparently helps quite a bit, though your mileage may vary.

Since the iPod Touch still makes Apple more than a billion dollars in revenue, excluding added iTunes sales, I'd be very surprised if they don't update. Especially now that the iPod Classic is out.

Ehhh, That doesn't really bother me, and it's not an upgrade that alone is worth paying for.

And yeah, I have reduce motion on. I don't know if it really helps, considering that iOS 7 was pretty laggy in the App Store, and now it isn't in iOS 8.1 Beta 2. But I had to turn it off to begin with because it was giving me vertigo during the iOS 7 betas.

My youngest son feels the same way. Got him a 1st gen iPad mini last Black Friday and he's quite happy with it and doesn't feel a need to upgrade.

Perfectly happy with my iPad mini Retina and iPhone 5, although xendula's stylus support idea would get my attention. I would like to see some big improvements in the Mac Mini line, though I assume any updates will be lackluster as usual. The iMacs are not my cup of tea due to their price and their shiny and highly reflective LCD screens.

Too bad there isn't a real Mac desktop computer with expansion bays positioned between the Mac Mini and the iMac. Personally I wish Apple would go back to function over form. I could care less what my computer looks like, I just want it too be fast and powerful without requiring a second mortgage!

Interesting timing. I was looking at Sony's MP3 lineup earlier this morning; including this one. Given a choice between a Sony or an iPod touch, I'd go with a touch, because it has internet access and the Sony doesn't.
