It shows on my Nexus 7. I installed the Amazon phone app from the Amazon app store. Google play restricts you to the tablet app.

I'm referring to the tablet version I loaded on my Nexus. I installed it to see if videos were in the menu. I've since removed it.

The first time I loaded the apps to get videos on my Nexus, I did the sideload bit. This time I loaded the phone version from the Appstore to get videos.

Not sure if this applies, but when I was putting it on my phone, the instant video link was missing from the Amazon app until I installed the Prime Instant Video helper app from Amazon's app store. Maybe you didn't have that yet and the tablet app also won't show it until that's installed?

Watched an ep of Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar (or rather, let it run with the volume muted) on the tablet, no coins yet.

It was installed. Anyway, it's no big deal.

Having purchased iBird Pro, my next round of apps won't expire until May 2015. That gives me breathing room to spend wisely.

I've been checking and I've now received my 500 coins. So about a day or so. I played an episode of a TV show, so I'm not sure if shorter videos qualify or not.

I tried to use the official process to watch a video on my phone again, and it crashed immediately everytime I tried to play something. I called Amazon support, and the conversation went pretty much like this:

"Hi, I'm calling about the 500 coins for watching a video promotion. I'm having a probl..."

"I see you attempted to play a video. I'm adding a $5 credit to your account."

"...em.... Oh...thanks...bye."
