After a stretch of chilly, overcast days, today was beautiful! Temps were in the low 70s, it was mostly sunny, and there was a breeze.

Tomorrow, it's supposed to be rainy, chilly and windy.

Fall arrives somewhat abruptly in NC: yesterday it was in the low 60's F when I got up ... today it was 45 F! But no fear - summer returns on Monday ...

And it will probably snow the following week ....

We we did have that snow storm in 2000 that happened only a few weeks after it being 80 degrees in January.

Quite cool down here today too. It is creeping up towards 60F but isn't there yet.

Ah, autumn in NC ....

Yesterday - high of 87 F with humidity levels so bad I got a bit heat sick carrying the groceries into the house.

Today - 58 F with drizzle and wind ... absolutely miserable ... I huddled in my hoodie like a depraved elf whilst pumping gas ...

Same highs and lows down here yesterday and today but with pouring rain today. No drizzle here.

Conversely, however, I LOVE this weather.
