Daft question - just noticed that quoting shows the code! That smiley is not mellow!!

(It's a thread on a completely different forum. Admittedly I did have a good motivation behind it as it was veering off into forbidden teritories, but even so... I have now just introduced them all to Monsieur Lupin, too.)

When I was a kid and had a cough my Mother would fix a combination of honey, lemon, and whiskey for me to drink. Like Ricky, I have never liked the taste of whiskey. Someone gave me a bottle of "excellent" whiskey when I graduated from college and it was still sealed when I gave it away after finishing grad school.

Perhaps we should think of an Omnibus edition of the Harv & Friends Saga including guest spots by Lefty, Hugo, PH, and VR's favorite fire hydrant.

Hooray!!! Someone else who had that home remedy thrust upon them as a child!! It really does put you off whiskey, doesn't it?? Although, I suppose, as a remedy, it's not that different from something like Nyquil, which has a fair amount of alcohol in it. But .... man, that stuff was nasty!!

For the next week, I am on triple animal duty. Neighbors are out of town for the Turkey Day Holiday, so I am taking care of even more doggies and kitties than usual. Plus, a couple of ferals that my neighbors look after.

In other words .... life as usual, but with everyone out of town, who will feed me??
