Ah, I see. Yes, they do some country specific sales. You'd think it would say in the rules, but perhaps that's asking too much? |

![]() I'm logged into Kobo Aus and I clicked on the link, and a series of books came up so I also clicked on "Items eligible for Promo codes". I then selected 2 books to test the coupon with (UJPBND)and neither of them worked. Books I used were: Jasper Jones, Craig Silvey $17.88 Before I Go To Sleep, S. J. Watson $19.72 Message was: 'We couldn’t apply this promo code to your purchase.' I also tried one of the comeback codes on the books and neither worked. Below is a pic of the screen I get when I click on the link. Last edited by Lynx-lynx; 10-02-2014 at 07:24 PM. |

Same here. I checked using US and UK stores; code didn't work for anything I tried it on (and I tried more than a few).

Something's definitely weird... unless it was, in fact, a one-time use code and someone else already used it? I hadn't tried before, because none of the books on the list particularly interested me. So I just posted it in case it helped anyone else. After reading your comments, I just logged into Kobo and tried the code for two different books on the list and it didn't work for either.
So either someone enjoyed it (I hope so!) or Kobo is even more screwed up than usual... ![]() |

My guess is a single-use code. Perhaps the lucky user would speak up to confirm that it worked once?

This falls under the "+ Discussion" category:
I used my last decent coupon from the contest to get 45% off a $3.99 book. I don't think it was worth the almost $2 I saved since something glitched and the book didn't end up in my library. After 28 minutes with customer service, I got it straightened out. It was only my own ridiculous persistence that got me the book. The CSR wanted me to email back my receipt and wait 24 to 72 hours for a refund but I insisted she stay on hold with me until she received my receipt and then give me the book and not a store credit because I didn't want to lose the coupon. I feel both victorious and kind of stupid that I wasted half an hour on less than $2 savings. |

Thanks for keeping the thread up to date
![]() From the first page I just used Comeback3cl86 & Comeback5cr87 in the new Zealand store. I also used sav50 I could've sworn that I used that one before so either it has reset so I could use it again or my memory is fading badly ![]() |

If you know the media mail postage rates (or can look them up) you can weigh your package on the machine and then buy the amount of postage you need. There should be an option for "other" amount of postage somewhere on the screen (it's been a while since I used one, so sorry I can't be more specific!)-- you can set it to any amount you need and then print it out. Then you'd just need to write "media mail" on your package and you're good to go! |
