They are beautiful pieces of work. We bought larger ones last year for beer. I think mine holds 36 ounces. This year I bought a smaller one for my tea, it holds 14 ounces. Lucas will probably get one next year. I will find an excuse to get another one. I really like them. They are pretty and unique and something I will never learn to do on my own.

I was curious as I had gotten some beautiful personalized wooden 1 litre mugs in Germany. It was customary to take a mug with you to many different events so my mug got quite a bit of use. When I came back it kind of shifted from box to box and finally I got it out for a party and used it. I became so incredibly sick from drinking out of it that I was damn near hospitalized. I've thought about having the inside sealed quite often but am not quite sure what I should use.
