The tummy-flu usually shows up around this time every year here in Sweden, we call it the "winter vomitingdisease" (Translated from what we really call it in swedish which is vinter kräksjukan) and I usually don't catch it. No such luck this year tho.

But I'm feeling just peachy today. Got a good nights sleep (even the dogs slept all night) so when the alarm went off at 05.30 this morning I leapt out of bed with a big shit-eating grin on my face. (Not really, but I can pretend cant I?)

But I do feel a lot better today

well that's a relief.

we usually get a gasto-intestinal bug going around this time of year too. one of the great things about working freelance is that you can avoid idiotically arrogant co-workers who are convinced that the world will grind to a halt if they miss a day of work, and so come in to spread their germs around and decimate the population of the neighborhood when they are visibly green, have 39° fever, and can barely stand up. (that is a true story, actually. i was sick as a dog thanks to that jackass, and i NEVER used to get those bugs. i lost 3 kg in a week.)

right now i am wondering why my fingers are feeling all tingly and whether it will go away soon, because it is making it really difficult to use the mouse, and that is a big problem.

Is the cold bothering you? Or perhaps just a circulation problem? Whiskey helps with either...

heh. while both of those *do* bother me, i don't think they are the explanation. actually i think i hurt my arm muscle carrying my groceries yesterday (as i frequently do... who wants to come follow me around and do all my heavy lifting for me ?) and i think that may be the trouble. although it's weird that it would make the ends of my fingers tingly.

man, i really hope it all goes away soon because let me tell you it is not fun. and i have work to do.

alas, i am afraid whisky does not help everything if you do not *like* whisky. my cousin gave me some very good whisky to taste and while i did appreciate it, i can now confirm that i do not like it.

hm, well, i have quite a lot of hobbies and activities already, i'm not sure i'll be able to fit whisky-enjoyment practice in. maybe next year.

yes. especially since i've been practicing drinking and enjoying that for years, and have gotten quite good at it.
