This book says on OverDrive the (single) author is "Dave Barry, Ridley Pearson" and cannot be sensed by searching for the authors individually. Neither does it work to temporarily change the author in caiibre to match OverDrive's quirk.

I sincerely doubt I can prevail upon OverDrive to fix their lousy metadata management, so I was wondering if you could figure out a workaround.

You can find those books with the plugin by searching using the author name Dave Barry Ridley Pearson, leaving out the comma. I will see if I can handle this better in a future release of the plugin.

I've been noticing a trend, where books already in Discovered books are being reported as just discovered. (And then OL wants to update the records, false positives, etc.)

It seems to happen whenever I search for all books by author "A" and find books by authors "B & A". (Where the searched author is NOT the first author listed.)

how do I configure for this.
I think my installed plug in is still searching amazon.com unlimited and the books selections are different at .com and .uk.
ideally I now need to unlink all of my .com results and then re-run against UK store. advice please
I have 1.8 installed already.
When I check some sample matches,e.g. Michael Lewis Flash Boys - they are not in the uk unlimited offer. for this example the plug in has found odid:B00HVJB4VM@ak/unlimited but if I go manually find it in the UK kindle store there is no "unlimited" deal

You can add multiple library configuration entries for Amazon. Each must have a unique library-id. The links for each of these collections will be maintained separately by the plugin.

Here are some useful library-id values:

Kindle Unlimited, Amazon US: unlimited

Amazon

Amazon Kindle Unlimited allows borrowing up to ten e-books at a time with no holds or waits for a monthly fee. The Amazon Kindle Owners' Lending Library is available to Amazon Prime members and allows borrowing of one e-book per month on a registered kindle device. Both services offer a similar, limited collection of books from which to choose.

When configuring, the library-id should be prime for the Kindle Owners' Lending Library, unlimited for Kindle Unlimited, kuwn for Kindle Unlimited with Narration, or store for all available Kindle e-books. Prefix the library-id with uk- for Amazon UK. Multiple collections can be searched by creating separate library entries for each in the configuration table.

Searches at Amazon do not always provide complete results, so books may sometimes appear to be removed and re-added to collections when nothing has actually changed. Also, editions of public domain works are added and removed frequently leading to many changes found for those books.

The general configuration option Set amazon identifiers when links to Amazon Kindle editions are added causes the amazon book identifier to be updated to point to kindle editions discovered during search.

Somewhat faster searches can be performed at Amazon US by supplying developer credentials for the Amazon Product Advertising API in the library configuration. The card number should be set to your access key ID and the card pin set to the corresponding secret key. You can register to become an Amazon Product Advertising API developer at https://affiliate-program.amazon.com...i/sign-in.html.

Currently, only the US Amazon site at http://www.amazon.com and the the UK Amazon site at http://www.amazon.co.uk are supported by the plugin. Searching the Kindle Owners' Lending Library is not supported for Amazon UK.

it seemed to glitch on 1st attempt at using "uk-unlimited" - it gave an error message that the library id was invalid....& I could not see how to copy / paste the exact message....but on a 2nd try it seems to be running ok.

I have another request, if it's not too much work. Can you show in the search results what the search was? The search results screen now is blank when nothing for the search is found. I think it used to give the search criteria, either the author's name or the name of the book. Now, if I have several searches going at once, when one or more come back blank, I have to search through the log to know what specific search found nothing.

The blank summary in the case where no links are found is not very informative. I will change the plugin in next release so that it shows all searched books for which no results were found in the "UNCHANGED LINKS" section of the search summary report.

This is an awesome plugin, it has become essential in my Calibre library. The only thing it is missing is the ability to identify whispersync eligible titles on Amazon. Is this something that could be considered for the future??
