I'm going with Harry, because he'd be most likely to find out first. They'd beat the crap out of each other, then Molly would step in and stop in. Then they'd have a long talk and try to decide how to keep Michael from killing him when he finds out (or have a long talk discussing why Michael never needs to find out.)

i think you're right. But you know Michael would find out sooner or later, so I'm thinking either Molly, or Harry or both would have to find a way to tell him. They would NOT want him figuring it out, or learning about it any other way.

Knowing Michael, the other two would come up with some detailed way to tell him, only to find out he already knew and was just waiting for them to do the right thing and tell him. Then he'd somehow make Harry feel guilty without actually saying anything, and even Thomas would feel like a guilty ass, because everyone feels guilty when they let Michael down in some way. That's just life in the Dresdenverse.

Is that a ewwww, disgusting, or a eeeew, kinky.
What I'm kinda wondering is
Spoiler:
at the end of Skin Game, it's showing that Molly can use a cell phone without her magic mucking it up. She's either becoming less human or more Sidhe, (I'm not assuming they are one and the same). Essentially though, she's evolving, and I am not sure that she would still be affected in the same way that a White Court vamp's prey normally acts. Especially if she's becoming more Sidhe, she may be the hunter rather than the hunted. I see a hell of a lot of divergent character development in the future

Because of that, I wonder if there would be the guilt on either side of the equation. I doubt it personally, however I'm pretty sure there'd be a hellava lot of property damage...

Yes basically what you have in the spoiler was what I had in mind for beeing unsure of who gets hurt by whom. It sure opens the door to a whole lot of unexpected twists. Isn't that the beauty of Jim leaving us hang at the end of a book?

Cool Jim Butcher quotes...

“You're in America now," I said. "Our idea of diplomacy is showing up with a gun in one hand and a sandwich in the other and asking which you'd prefer.”
― Jim Butcher, Turn Coat

“The human mind is not a terribly logical or consistent place.”

It's the mark of a truly brilliant author. I have never, ever had a series of 15+ books that continually left me wanting the next one RIGHT DAMN NOW! the way the Dresden Files do.
Every other author that has used the same characters over so many books (R.A. Salvatore and Robert Jordan for example) has lost my interest, not having the slightest idea on how to progressively develop characters without completely changing their essence. Harry and the gang have developed as characters, as people, and damn it, as my friends, and I can't wait for the next one!

He does it with his other series too. Same thing happened with Codex Alera when I read it. Fortunately all books were already written, so I read all 6 books back to back.

I believe that the secret in the success of the Dresden Files is a strict limit of how many major characters get a spotlight in each book. Other than Harry, everybdy else is easy to follow throughout the books as they skip books. Usually Harry only has one side-kick at a time, even if the person beside him might change throughout the book. This way the reader has time to intimately get to know each and every one. Next book they don't show up unless it is in conversation. Doesn't mean they abandoned Harry, just that they are busy with their own things. The universe does not evolve around Harry, even though that is the only point of view we got - well, doh, there is hardly ever a scene that doesn't have Harry in it.
