I'm hoping this PW case will be retooled for the Voyage, I think it's lovely, and the price is right at ~$12.

No no no! I ordered it and it was crap. The cover did not lay flat and was misaligned, and the map (= the world!) was upside down. I mean, how the heck did they manage to get it that wrong?!

Mine was from Ebay, and maybe they fixed their production issues... But, just sayin'...

Ordered it the day it released -- probably, from the time I started seeing posts here about it, within 10-15 minutes of the page going up -- and have a no-special-offers WiFi + 3G device on its way on October 21.

There's now a notice on the product page: "Due to popular demand, orders placed today are expected to ship the week of December 14th. Limit two per customer."

It's just like Apple's annual iPhone release: if you get your order in immediately, you'll get one on the first day. If not, the delivery dates very rapidly get pushed back days, then weeks, and sometimes months. There are reports, for instance, that people ordering the iPhone 6 Plus are having to wait over a month to to receive them.

The Voyage WiFi SO now has a shipping date of December 12-16, so if anyone is planning on gifting this for Christmas, now might be a good time to order.

Exactly my experience. Wouldn't stay closed and eating battery, from ebay, upside down. I returned it.

One good thing about the flush screen on the voyage though is that it would mean no more cat hairs stuck between the screen and bezel which are such a PITA.

In the UK, the release date is November 4th, and as of today there is nothing showing on the UK site to suggest that the shipping date will be any later. Maybe it's not quite so popular here then? I've had a quick look through the Amazon UK kindle forum, and there doesn't seem to be much excitement about the Voyage, I think the £169 price for the wifi model is the stumbling point (and £229 for the 3G model is way too much IMHO)
I haven't ordered one, waiting to see first if a JB can be found. I got the PW2 as soon at it came out last year, and I still remember the long, painful months waiting for a JB - not making that mistake again! If it can't be JB'd then I probably won't bother, despite really wanting the page turns buttons and larger memory.

Yes, but they are reviews for all the various cases you can order via that link. You'd have to wade through them to check out the ones that comment on the maps.

And, again, maybe they fixed these issues. Since they are Prime, you can try. The Ebay seller refunded me the money and I think I threw mine out.
