Parts of the trailer make me think "teen trek". And also, what have they done to the Enterprise? The bridge looks appropriately "Pike era", which makes sense considering its a prequel. But the hall ways look more like something out of ST1. And if they didn't make the deflector dish glow in Enterprise, why the **** is it doing it now?

I guess. Meh, but we Trekkie like the idea of one continuous universe... err universes. If Abrams starts any of that "reboot" crap you can bet he will be utterly despised by the Star Trek community.

I thought Ezri was cute... (Backs away as legions of Playboy and Hustler raised males insult me... )

Looking at this trailer it makes me wonder if they didn't steal the concept from a dead Star Fleet Academy pilot script.

Star Trek hit its prime in writing during DS9. Voyager and Enterprise weren't as bad as everyone makes them out. But they definately had a higher miss to hit ratio. Janeway was also a very nicely developed character. Which when it first started I thought was going to be the opposite.

Whoops, walked away without finishing this post... Bleh, probably half a dozen new posts in it for me to read anyway.
