Apparently delete my ability to download the ebooks I've purchased to my computer.

But back to the topic at hand...I skipped the PW2 last year because I was perfectly happy with my first-edition PW. In the past few months, as I've added more and more books to it, it seems like the device is getting slower and slower and a tad on the cranky side. And since the date they said the Voyage would arrive just happens to be my birthday, well...

How could I resist?? I pre-ordered it and discovered, as someone else did, the "deferred payment" promotion. Happy birthday to me!

Not the slightest concern for me, personally. I've never switched away from the default font (whatever that is) on any reading device in recent years. Of course I appreciate that it may be a concern for other people.

The price doesn't seem too unreasonable. It's the same, I believe, as the price of the official Amazon PW case.

The only thing that the voyage adds in my opinion woth considering is the light sensor and I am not willing to pay that much of a price premium for the sensor.

Not for me, yet. Not at that price point.

I am still enjoying my 1st Gen Kindle Paperwhite.

I am sure the new HD display looks amazing, but for a premium device, at a premium price, it needed more premium features.

No audio? No one is asking for a speaker, just give us a head jack. Give us an excuse to take it with us instead of leaving it and listening to the audio version on our phones.

How about a real, "non experimental" web browser? I don't need to watch YouTube on the thing, but how about viewing RSS feeds in article mode on a beautiful e-ink screen without it crashing every 5 minutes.

I don't understand why they can't devote at least some development to that.

And, if I am expected to pay $200, you have to increase the screen size, at least an inch larger.

It's shipping on 4th Nov, which is only about a week after the US shipping date. You can pre-order it (on Amazon UK, at least) now.
