Yes, sellers do list Kobo devices on Amazon US, too. I have bought some that way. In fact, that's how I got my Aura HD for $126. Occasionally you can get a good deal, if you stalk the site constantly.

Amazon sells products direct from their warehouse or manufacture and products listed by other sellers. When I search Amazon for Kobo Mini it lists 7 new and 2 used products from various sellers. Click on 7 new and goes to page listing sellers, location and other information.

But not one of them is Kobo. That is what I was saying. Kobo doesn't sell through Amazon. 3rd parties do at an inflated price.
