$199 for 32GB would have been a good selling point. I might have considered it.

Let's be fair here. When you open a package of pop tarts, you're effectively consuming an iPad Air each time since they come in twos.

BT is just the transport layer. The communication will use a proprietary protocol that will mean it only works with idevices.

I want a bigger phone, but I might just buy two Nexus 5's instead of a new iPhone 6. Still considering.

Well, that is disappointing. I was so sure I thought I heard Android mentioned during the presentation. I guess they'll forfeit the wearables market to Google, LG, Samsung and Motorola when it comes to some 1B Android devices.

That said, they certainly COULD make it work with Android phones. Heck, the released iTunes for Windows because they knew most people buying iPods would be using windows. Perhaps they think the iWatch will sell more iPhones this way. I wonder how many people would switch to iPhone just to have an Apple Watch? |

Allowing the iWatch to mesh with Android would mean you could buy the watch and use Android + Google Play Store exclusively.

Hmm, so in order to read the New York Post you first have to read the New York Times?

Besides the cost issue, there is actually a reason why mobile companies don't slap in a lot more ram than they need is that it has a negative impact on battery life.

I mean, honestly: does everyone want to walk around looking like Dick Tracy? But talking to THEMSELVES? Talking to their WRISTS, like grown-ups playing at being G-Men, (or G-ladies, whatever), like they did when they were 5 years old? Gosh, can't WAIT. it's not bad enough everybody walks around like some paranoid schizo now, talking to themselves (headsets), now they'll skulk around like FBI agents? It just gives me the damn giggles. I'm getting a real "MAXWELL SMA-RT!" vibe here. MWAHAHAHAHA. Hitch
