Nah. FBReader doesn't highlight. Only Windows/Mac ereaders highlight (and not all of them either.) Honestly this is very surprising to me. With as creative and inventive as Linux people are in adapting to what's out there this seems like a HUGE gap. Everybody likes to highlight stuff now and then. So all Linux users reading epubs or mobis not on Kindle can't highlight. Very surprising. (But I'm holding out hope that you can figure this out, Boss!)

Yep, Kindle 4 PC seems to work great in WINE. See here: https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManag...estingId=81784
If you've never used WINE before, we can guide you through the steps. ![]() |

Steam for Linux was released in February of last year, IIRC. Many of their games were and are in the middle of being rereleased to work with the new client. Going forward, all their games should by default work under Linux.
Certain games, specifically older ones, mag never be released under linux. But by and large you no longer need to run Steam as a Windows program through WINE. One of the great victories of linux. ![]() Last edited by eschwartz; 09-04-2014 at 01:54 AM. |

As said, I wasn't being serious, but since you ask... Open the file in the editor. Find the text you want to highlight. Highlight it in the usual way, then click on the "Background Colour" icon and select a colour. Save the file. You could do it in Sigil if you prefer, but obviously the steps would be slightly different. |

As a desktop ereader, it is excellent -- although most would probably use a portable device of some sort. It makes an excellent offering on Windows tablets, too, or so I've heard. |
