Did the original HD cases not have a "bulge" to fit the angled back of the HD? Even if the size was the same I'm not sure an original HD case would work on the H2O. Of course there could be different styles that didn't have that. I don't have a case, so I'm going from memory. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The HD cases are designed to match exactly the contours of the HD back. There will be a new case for the H2O to match its new dimensions.
