Hmm...This doesn't look good.

Well, it's been in the hands of my just-turned-11-year-old son for several years. I'm kind of surprised it lasted this long.

I don't suppose any one has any advice? Or wants to buy a slightly used ereader....?

Though wasn't it Sony who showed that prototype flexible 13 in. reader?

Is it likely that most devices will switch to the flexible substrate, or is dedicate reader demand slipping too much for manufacturers to care?

Probably a small crack initially, which then spread. Like cracks in a car windscreen sometimes do.
