I don't know if its just me but since I updated to Calibre 2.00 this has happened and i can't get Calibre to recognise Marvin at all on any device. I hope this isn't a sign of Calibre not working properly

I'm getting tempted to go back a version to see if that helps.

I updated to 2.00 version. Yesterday, I did buy adobe DRM books from KOBO and successfully managed the import into adobe, then into calibre and I can open them and read them. So, for me at least there is not a problem with the new version of calibre. I think this is probably too off topic for this thread and you may want to ask for help in the calibre thread if you haven't already.

I can't help with ADE/Kobo, but in order to transfer books to Marvin (with the iOS reader applications plugin), you need to either downgrade to 1.48, or wait till the plugin gets an update. All plugins needs to be upgraded in order to work with 2.0, and that one hasn't been fixed yet.
