Did anyone have any success with Orion/Gollancz/Gateway publisher? None of the contest coupons worked on them. I mainly buy sci-fi and fantasy and so far this contest has not been useful

I'm pretty sure they're verboten, but Baen's promo-eligible and Open Road's got some good rights-reverted reprints. John DeChancie's "Castle Perilous" books and Joel Rosenberg's "Guardians of the Flame" series are on my list.

I have used the three 75% off codes in the UK store.

I have copied the codes posted so far to the first post. Three 75% codes, four 65% codes, two 55% codes and two 45% codes.

If anyone else gets a 75% off code, please post it (after using it). It seems the current competition's codes are one use per account, not just single use.

In the UK I've never got any codes for those Hachette imprints, but Tor books are usually discountable. I've just used those 75% codes on two Tor books and one Solaris.

Yep, Open Road Media is my current "go to" fantasy/sci-fi publisher for older or OOP books.

Just to note, for a Fantasy/Sci-Fi junkie (like me!), these are the publishers that allow coupons in the US (that I've found, this is by no way a full list).

Prologue Books (mostly noir, but they have Chris Bunch, Sara Zettel, and some good golden age authors.)

Thanks. I was going to ask about Angry Robot as there's at least one author I read who is published there (Justin Gustianus). Frank Tuttle is published by Samhain and is couponable. Any fans of Rachel Aaron, her books are not normally couponable, but her Nice Dragons Finish Last is- awesome read. Jana DeLeon is both trad and non and a lot of her backlist is available. Her books run 6 dollars but I've bought them all from there so I know they are couponable. I don't know if it's okay to post individual authors though or if anyone wants to know. That could get unwieldy in a hurry.

I used to buy Gateway books in India with past contest coupons. But now that the coupons are geo-restricted I see those days are gone.

Further, some authors have multiple publishers. David Weber's Baen books (Honor Harrington et al.) are discountable, but his Tor books (Safehold) are not.

Since this seems to be a fast moving thread can anyone help me with Adobe Digital Editions.

I've bought 5 books, 4 downloaded into Adobe okay, 1 didn't, i got an error message. I've now worked out that somehow my Adobe ID got switched for another email address in the last few days. I know everything was okay on the 20th but its now all screwed up. I've reauthorosed Adobe and I can now download the other book, but obviously not the first 4.

Plus I can now longer convert anything so i'm stuck with a locked epub. I can still read the books on my kobo but thats not the point, I wanted them all safe in Calibre. I just don't understand whats going on. I dare not buy another book from KOBO right now
