Well I caved. I ordered Starz and Encore for half price for a year and the gal said it will take a couple of hours and it will be live before they replay last week's episode before this week's episode tonight. They also threw in HBO for free so I can watch the recent season of GoT, and will be able to catch Season 4 next ~spring!

Wohoo! Game of Thrones is great!

Season 4 is the most recent one. Season 5 is due next year. (Season four had one of my favorite moments of all time for the show. I actually got up from the couch and shouted "YES!" and did a fist pump for good measure. )

So has anyone else noticed that Kobo seems to have increased their discountable publisher books by 10%? So far I've seen it on Sourcebooks, Harlequin HQN & MIRA, and possibly a smaller jump on Kensington.

Don't forget Haven starts a new season on Syfy 9/11. Unless they make the episodes available I'm gonna have to wait to see them.

Forgot about Haven, like that show quite a bit. I just cancelled my cable after the bill jumped another $44 so I guess I'll have to wait to see them unless they make them available on their website or I subscribe to something like Hulu and they have them.

Oh I should've known that... I have 1-3 on Blu-ray!

I've actually listened to a podcast for GoT for this past season... only spoilerish stuff for me are the bits that vary from the books.

Just FYI, the new contest codes only work in new checkout. They don't work in old checkout at all.

I'm sure there will be more codes coming up.

I have to travel to Kobo US to use the codes, so yeah, it's new checkout by default.

Yeah, I'm aware of this upcoming box set, too. I've also had a few of these already. Haven't really heard of the others, though. Maybe I'll give them a shot.

Here's hoping it's put on Hulu Plus. We still have that after three months of freezing the service to save money. Netflix of course is a must for hubby. Amazon Prime is a must for both of us. He watches the videos and I use the free shipping alot.

Thank you! I picked up the sequel to the Laura Kinsale book that was a Kindle DD the other day. I thought I'd have to wait a while to get because my codes have been less than stellar.
