Ok, finally got around to trying this...added CC info to my profile for ereader encryption...bought an inexpensive secure ereader book along with a multiformat book to put me over the $5 mark for no transaction fee and then ran the ereader2html script and then used mobipocket creator.

Worked great.

Now I'm planning a little order...or a big one...to hit the $100 mark so I get ereader discount plus larger purchase discount back into micropay.

Having formatted a few days ago and forgetting how to use ereader2html I'm having syntax errors. this is what I do:

ereader2html.py DeathfromtheSkies.pdb ereader "My Name" 12345678

Is that right?

Not exactly sure by what you mean the ereader? if its for the destination folder the should be ok.

The syntex I usually use is

ereader2html.py BookName.pdb DestinationFolderName "My Name" CardNumber

I also Find it easier to Just save this in a BAT file so that even if I forget it, I can easily just Cut and past the names and be done with it.

I or someone else really need to come up with a Batch file which can take any files in a folder and automaticly run the script and convert the files.

The ereader part is the output dir, here's the error:

Try issuing the command in a Windows command window. See KindlePID XP for how to install Python (which you have done), where to put .py scripts, and how to open a command window, and thenKindleFIX Vista/XP for a command more similar to ereader2html.

It looks like you are running the command in the python command line. You should not do that. Just run your command right from the DOS c:\> prompt. Don't run python first.

yes... Unless you have made .py and executable I think you need to put the .py on the command name.

Where is the .py file on your pc. And is that folder in your path?

When I just type ereader2html.py and press enter I get the usage message.

It's in the Python26 Script folder
