				Bingo Night

Dr Drib, the man with a PhD who is still wondering how to light his pipe and uses two Sony PRS-505s (one for each eye I guess), has commented that we have yet to have a thread on Bingo. Since the song called "Bingo" talks about a dog, I will suggest that the "good" doctor is referencing the game of Bingo as practiced in so many fire stations, elks' lodges, and church social halls as well as some of the more downscale hotels on the Miami waterfront (err, beachfront.) So take out your cards and the first number is I-23. That's EYE-TWENTY-THREE. |

he certainly is. And so is Dr Drib. However, I expect that the doctor was merely proposing a discussion of the geography of Burkina Faso. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bingo,_Burkina_Faso |

Note that the name "Bingo" refers to entirely different games in the UK/Australia and the US. This may perhaps lead to confusion unless we clarify which particular game we're talking about.

In going over my papers one night - papers that a stranger shoved almost abusively into my face during my recent visit to Machu Picchu - I discovered a reference to the capital of Burkina Faso, named Ouagadougou, where a document of the utmost secrecy is hidden. Apparently, in this document, written in invisible ink, there is a winning Bingo game with numbers that foretell the future President of the United States in the year 2012. Below this hidden game, there is apparently one word with one letter left out. This is the word: R scals and this one graphic icon: I am mystified about the nature of this word and why there would be any humor attached to it, if indeed the icon represents anything humorous. I've been working three, long months now trying to decipher the word, but to no avail. I am literally at my wit's end. In the meantime, my studies will continue upon this intriguing puzzle. I feel the message is of the utmost import to the security of the United States, but at this moment I am as puzzled by the puzzle as the puzzler is to me. Regards, Dr. Drib | |
