Fire Phone guys get To-Fu Fury for free, the rest of us get Instapaper, Language Coach, Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary, Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing, and a few others that are mostly repeats.

Me too. I dob't feel like most of those were essential either, but whatever, Amazon has to work with what it has.

Yeah I saw that too.I grabbed it beacuse I have been looking for a good android dictionary with voice.

Only one I really wanted was the one I can't play, as I don't want to trade in my phone....

They will make that game available for everyone soon enough. There's no way they've wasted thousands in development just to have it sell a few copies.

I purchased that game even without a Fire Phone on my account. It just popped up a warning that I didn't have a compatible device, and asked if I really wanted to buy it?

I said yes, I did... who knows, I may get a Fire Phone eventually.

I grabbed it too, even though I doubt I'll ever have a Fire phone. I'd bet once the "new" has worn off a bit it will be made available to at least some other devices.

If I didn't have to switch to AT&T and if the only comments on the hotspot weren't negative, I might consider it (although mostly for a family member, maybe, and not me). I have apps I've bought that I would not want to have to re-purchase (plus, some aren't in the Amazon appstore, only at Google). Hopefully, though, it will allow sideloading, as the other Fires do (unlike the nook tablets, unless you root them).

ETA: I doubt the game will work on other devices, as I suspect it uses the unique features of the Phone, either 3D or other.

I had the Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary, 8th edition in my wish list for quite some time and had nearly purchased it at the $29.99. Sticker shock was holding me back, but I was weakening and nearly convinced myself it was worth the price. I'm so happy I waited!
