Just FYI this is an example of the 480 pixels download shown at the ex-large size (actual 61x94mm) on the Note3.

That is a big cover! Very clean. No artifacts that I can see.

But I am crushed. You removed the "Read" line. I slaved during raging hailstorms dodging ice balls the size of my fist to add that, and the first thing you do is take it away. Crushed, I say. Sob sob sob.

(Am I far enough over the top that no one can think I am serious? )

I meant to ask: have you raised the cover compression value in calibre?

I currently have the compression quality set at 90 in calibre

Relax! just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there, it's just off the screen, sitting at #6 of the 12 that made the cut. 14 have been culled because I'm heartless

If I tap on the arrow on the left I can go back to the book list that way.

I uninstalled CC and renamed my book folder and reinstalled CC. I added four books thru the content server and I am getting the same spinning circle when I go into book details. I'll send the debug file.
I found the problem. I started testing on my Kindle Fire and the problem happened there repeatably. The version I sent the link for will not fix it.

The fix will be in the next release, probably tomorrow.

Page turn buttons scroll the list!

chaley - I've just discovered a really nice "bonus" of the "scrollbar" interface for the list view you added in the dev code, and that is that the page can be scrolled using the page up/page down hardware buttons on the Onyx T68. I don't know if this was deliberate, or just a coincidental side-effect, but it's very useful, whatever the cause, so thanks!

To be honest, I have no idea why that works, but I am glad that it does.

Well, whatever it was that you did, don't change it!

EDIT: Ignore all the above - it's nothing to do with the new interface. The page up/page down hardware buttons scroll every screen in CC. That's even more useful!

My guess is that the hardware buttons work with anything Android knows to be a "scrollable container". And as you mention, that's basically every screen in CC as the settings menu, list/grid of books, content server etc are all lists.

Yes, and it's very useful. The usual "drag to scroll" method doesn't really work terribly well on an eInk screen - the screen is completely unreadable until it comes to a halt again. This makes things so much easier .

This might be a due to my own inexperience with CC rather than a bug, but I seem unable to unchoose "Always view metadata" (or words to that effect) when selecting a book on the list of available books to download. The reason this is an issue is because it stops me from checking and unchecking the checkboxes on the list, but instead always brings me to a metadata view of a single book.

You have two options:

1) Long-press on a book to add it to the download queue.
2) Tap the menu button (usually 3 dots) and choose "Show dialog on book tap", which unchecks that box.
