Change Case with Regex Problem

I find this

Code:

\. (\p{Lowercase_Letter})

replace with this

Code:

. \U1

But it returns error.

". \U\1" works with Sigil, though. But not with Editor.

\U is not a supported operator by the regex engine calibre uses.

Possibly you could add operator icons to the Text Formatting Toolbar to

UPPER CASE
lower case
Proper Case
First letter only

all selected text not within < > pairs??

Potential workaround

As I've said before, there will be a function mode for search and replace, that will allow doing this and many, much more powerful operations.
