You mean the splayed leg, flat on the tummy pose, which he also takes at 10 sec, and at 15 sec (i.e. after each dive into the box). Yeah, I loved that pose!!!

There's a scene in a manga I like called "My Cat Loki" where the hapless artist is admiring artwork on the wall at the vet's and the cat gets into some "discussions" with other animals in the waiting room... I'll see if I can find and scan just that page.

actually i have A System for getting them into it. you could almost say i've developped it into a science. when possible, i take it out and put it in the living room several days ahead of time, so they have time to get used to the idea. that, at the crucial moment, when they suspect nothing, i very casually close the bathroom door and the bedroom door, and then grab the first one and stuff her inside. then i chase down the second one (who has caught on by now, and is invariably tearing around the room and dashing under furniture and such, but has nowhere to hide since i've closed off the rooms with inaccessible hidey holes) and try to keep the first one inside while shoving the second one in with her. this part is a LOT easier if i have a friend to help me, there's only so much you can do with two hands. the last two times it went without a hitch, although it is rather heartbreaking to see them pressing their faces to the wire door and sticking their paws out through it in an attempt to escape.

Hmmm ... well, I have to tote anywhere from 8 to 10 per each vet trip. So, if you're looking for sympathy .....

Oh, that had me in hysterics. It is just the funniest position. And he seems to actually pose ....

I'm going to have to set up a video cam here at the house. Who knows ... perhaps my cats perform like the Rockettes when I'm not around ....

of course, i assume you mean "in a car", whereas i am toting these cats on foot. not the same. especially since the two of them together probably weigh close to 20 or 25% of my body weight.

my friend who sent me the first video said i should film my cats and put them on youtube. my cats are better than television. this is less entertaining when it goes on at 4 in the morning, of course, but most of the time i enjoy it.

Yeah, four in the morning is usually when Jon-Jon starts to sing and Madison starts to dance .... it's the only way I can describe it ... he sings and she dances.

You skinny little thing you!! You need to have someone like me as a neighbor so I can do the heavy lifting for you. I'm serious. I don't think fifty pounds would even make me flinch .... I lift that much at a go almost every day.
