Just noticed this. If you move sort to the menu, the order of the items is:

Sort
Connect
Settings
....

But once you connect, it becomes

Disconnect
Sort
Settings
....

Shouldn't the menu be in the same order whether you are connected or not?

The missing icon after upgrade happened on all my devices - Nexus 7 and 5, and my T68. No other problems so far. I love the autosort option!

I did not experience the icon missing after upgrading from the play store. However, I am using Nova launcher prime on both devices.

I'm not certain if my next issue is one that Kaufman has already discussed, it certainly seemed so but I wasn't 100% certain.

I have Auto-Sort: Series enabled for most groupings. When I select a group category (example: Series auto-sort by series) and then further select Series Starting with "C". The cover grid and list view properly show all series (sorted by series) starting with "C". But if I wish to return one level up in the group drawer I must click on "Series" first to then select for example, series starting with "G". But when I clicked on "Series" this reverses sort order. And so now books starting with "G" sorts in reverse order as well

I believe what you mentioned about a default sorry order would resolve this issue.

Me too. I moved the Sort option to the menu, and I don't expect to ever use it again.

I think this is fixed. The debug log indicated that is was caused by skipping showing the first letter.

Fixed. Autosorts now sort only in the default direction no matter how many times they are tapped in the group list. They still invert if tapped in the sort menu.

5) Is it intentional that there is no way to set a default sort for custom columns? Perhaps a single default sort for all custom columns.

Fixed. Custom columns can be added to the sort menu, can be given auto-sort values, and can be used as auto-sorts.

I don't why Android sometimes does this. I see it in about 1/5 of my test runs. There is no discerable difference between the runs. Some chatter on the 'net implies that the problem is caused by the Google Now app & launcher, but I have no way of verifying that.

Makes lots of sense, and yes, I have fixed this.

In addition to the above, the next release will contain:

• Fixes for storing certain custom columns in the db such as custom series, float, and int.
• When sorting, show the value of the sorted field in the booklist. Previously this works for a few dates. The change makes it work for all sorts.
• Fix upload to google books.
• Addition of a "please wait" startup screen in the case where a database schema change is needed (not a full upgrade). There is one of these in the next release. The schema change runs at about 1 second per thousand books on my original N7.
• All selected custom columns can be optionally shown in the sort menu.
• All selected custom columns can be optionally shown in the grouping drawer.
• All selected custom columns can be used as auto-sorts.

I expect to make the new release tomorrow (Friday), or perhaps this afternoon if testing goes well.
