HDX INFURIATING

I just can't get some covers to appear on the Kindle Fire HDX 7" in the correct aspect ratio OR have the covers on the Carousel.

I've used the Quality Check, and I've used Re-size covers....but I just can't get the damn things to do what I want! How friggen hard is it to be able to transfer my own books to the damn device in the aspect ratio I want....I'm beginning to think this wasn't for me.

Not only that, the device has next to NO organizing options. The cloud collections is worthless and you still can't go to collections in a default menu, and you can't keep items from automatically going to the Carousel after use....c'mon Amazon!!!

Okay rant done.....anyone able to help a brotha out?

I'm really close to just rooting this thing, but I'm afraid to brick it.

I cannot get a title to FAIL to give me a proper cover - BUT I purchase all my titles through Amazon.

What is the source of these problematic titles?

And as far as organization, I have read about a couple of the "bookshelf organizers" - - but haven't acquired one yet.

I only have those problem on my HD IF I fail to transfer ONLY Mobi titles... AZW files work great. Tho no collection option on the HD. You can go by Author Most Recent or Titles in the list so not too hard to find. While reading shows on the Carosel til you remove.

I've got a work around for the collections thing, there is that option on the HDX...though it's not that great.

As far as side-loading azw3's had a REALLY hard time getting covers to show for some reason. Even with large covers.

Using the "p" option to clean the book was the way I got it to work, it's just another hoop to jump through.
