The drivers should handle any released version of firmware for all the Kobo e-ink devices. If you see any problems with any firmware version, tell me and I'll look into it.

Found two bugs. Not new, it was this same way in the previous firmware too. 1) If light is set to 1%, then the light button will turn it off, but won't turn it back on 2) In the Pocket list, sorting by "Newest" works correctly, but sorting by "Oldest" absolutely does NOT |

I love that Kobo issues firmware updates so regularly, but seriously: I'm in awe that they went to the trouble of commissioning their own font and yet seem completely indifferent to whether it actually works or not.

They can be copied but seem to be locked in some way. E.g. trying to open a built-in font in Windows gives a Windows Font Viewer error message 'not a valid font file.

I've tried replacing the Kobo Nickel font in 3.5.0 with a copy from firmware 2.8.1, but it still displays with the super-wide line spacing. A workaround is to apply the line spacing patch. If you normally use a spacing of 1.0 for other fonts (the minimum in the unpatched firmware), then a spacing of about 0.70 or 0.75 will be right for Kobo Nickel. |

@GeoffR, This time around I tried enabling your patch for adjustable top/bottom margins (top only, in my case). I like it so thanks for that. |

Does the Adobe fix for the long paragraph bug also fix the end-of-chapter bug?

What bugs me is that my Desktop got the update but my Glo did not. Anybody know their affiliate, to those who have already received the update?

I think the new RMSDK also fixes the issue where a markup tag embedded in a word would allow a word break. E.g. "S<span class="smallcaps">MALLCAPS</span>" no longer breaks after the "S". |
