What I remember is they were "futuristics". If you're not familiar with the term: to me, it means a romance writer tries to write science fiction. The focus is the romance, the SF is the backdrop (and in many futuristics, the backdrop is like a bad movie set )I differentiate futuristics from sci-fi romance by the amount of science fiction versus romance. Linnea Sinclair writes sci-fi romance. Catherine Spangler writes futuristics. Early Jayne Ann Krentz/Amanda Glass wrote some futuristics. And Susan Grant's stuff I would put somewhere in between, depending on the story. I'm not saying they're not good...as I said above, I enjoyed them enough to buy the whole series back when. It depends on your opinion of futuristics, which I why I tried to explain the difference. |

![]() C.J. Barry Un series would SciFi because it happens while earth is in the 90s. So would Dara Joy's Matrix series. I think that the big difference is the world and time the story is set in. |

Call Kindle Customer Service. If it is still under warranty, they may replace it at no charge. If no warranty, they may offer you another one at a reduced cost. Be sure you talk to Kindle Customer Service and not Amazon Customer Service.
