George R.R. Martin Has a Message For Anyone Who Thinks He Won’t Finish A Song of Ice

Time Magazine has the article with Martin's response: http://time.com/?utm_source=feedburn...-books-finish/ I won't spoil the answer here, but it involves a popular hand gesture. |

Why doesn't he do what Patterson does and get someone else write his books? |

Here's for Brandon Sanderson to finish off ASOIAF after George R. R. Martin gives up the ghost!

Seeing as how his travel schedule seems to get busier and busier all the time, I wonder if he's ever even considered softening his self-imposed "only-writes-at-home" rule a bit?

Pfff... I'm really happy I never enjoyed his series, I would not want to be in some of my friends place, waiting and hoping and fearing another Wheel of Time...

I suggested Sanderson specifically because his track record shows he can handle the load AND do it well. He's like James Patterson only he does it for real instead of franchising. | |

Doesn't he use some ancient DOS computer to write on? It's probably not very convenient to lug around.
