That used to be the case many years ago, but I don't think it still is. I'd certainly regard it as one of the more trustworthy papers as far as the quality of its journalism goes.

Why do you believe that to be the case? It's definitely legally available as an ebook in the UK, and is published by Penguin.

Well, I am not entirely certain of Guardian's reputation about errors (not a person from England here), but from the articles I have read from them, I have to go with HarryT on that basis. They do produce some quality journalism.

My edition wasn't from Penguin and when I opened it there wasn't any ISBN number. Also at the very last page there was a link for a dubious web site (I think it's closed now). Kobo refunded me easily, even one year after the purchase.

I pre-ordered my copy on Amazon, it was $4.71.

I think the publisher has to send a take down notice. I know that Amazon didn't do anything when I reported a pirated version of one of Roger Zelazny's books.

My library has more copies and longer waits. Currently averaging about 8 holds per copy. I'm sure that will grow as more people realize it's available now.

My pre-order was $4.71 as well. How do we get a refund for the difference? Boo!! It's not much, but still.....

One of my libraries has 2 copies with 6 on the waiting list another has 10 copies with 54 on the waiting list.

But we know better then to buy any eBooks from Apple. Even free ones from Apple we don't buy.
