Very disappointing from Brazil, despite them leading at half time. Their main tactic seems to be to kick James Rodriguez off the pitch and the referee seems to have fallen for the hype over Brazil and will not book their players whatever they do. It's a shame that a team that is so hyped is actually so bereft of talent that they have to resort to that.

I have to say that I like Fred though. If he's capable of getting into the Brazil team then there's hope for me still!

I'm turning this off now. FIFA would like Brazil to go through to the next round.and it's patently obvious that the referee has been made aware of this. If Brazil do go on to win the tournament, I hope they are aware of the blatant corruption that got them there.

Really, a disgusting display from the referee and his team. Football at the highest level is dead thanks to Blatter, commercial concerns and compliant referees.

Besides a tackle in the first half that deserved a yellow, i don't see that many decisions that were blatantly controversial. Brazil were not that good, but were good enough for this colombian team.

Oh i just read in the news, one fractured vertebrae for Neymar. I guess colombians can't quite complain too about. That knee hit in Neymar's back could quite easily been a red card.

I'm not able to watch the live match due to time zone difference, so I just watch some highlights here and there. I was rooting for Chile and Colombia, but too bad they were eliminated.

I now root for Netherlands, but at the same time I also hope the "dark horse" can advance further. Dilemma!

Still no surprises in the knockout rounds. With the semi finals, I'm not sure what would be a surprise though. Who is favourite between Germany and a Brazil without Neymar? Who is the better team between the Netherlands and Argentina? Should be a couple of interesting matches.

Yeah, no surprises there. None of the dark horses made it. I'm not exactly a fan of the Brazil team, but I'll never wish the injury on anyone. I hope Neymar will get better soon.

I also hope that whoever wins will win fair and square.

They could very well been in the quarter finals playing against Colombia if onlt that Pinilla shot was 5 cm lower

Wow, just finished watching the game (PVR). I was expecting Germany to win that one but who would have believed 7-1. It could have easily been higher too. I'll have to pick my jaw off the floor and wait for the game tomorrow. I think it's going to be a Germany vs Netherlands final.

Germany played well. It will be interesting to see the Netherlands in the finals against them. But....first we have to win from Argentinia ( interesting fact: our queen is from Argentinia). We may have Nigel de Jong back, and of course we have Robben, van Persie, Cillissen, Kuit, Sneider, Blind, Vrij...............etc etc........( yes, blinded by football-nationalism

). And the coach Louis van Gaal.
