Given the rapidly evolving pace of these devices, I'm certainly not going to worry about what could conceivably happen an unknown time in the future. I buy a device for what it'll do now.

Which part of the interface are you referring to? Happy to test it out if you can give more details. If you're referring to the grey text on a black background of the options screens, that works fine.

The only part of Moon+ that's not usable on the T68 are the configuration options that pop up a list of options. The option lists are "white on white". Luckily, for most of them, that's not an issue, because they only have 3 or 4 items, and you can choose them one at a time and see what it is you've selected. (The selection is visible - just not the pop-up.) The only thing this doesn't work for is the control configuration - the list of features to map to each control is very long, and it's all completely blank. Fortunately the default control set is absolutely fine for me.

I found this out too, yesterday. I wanted to change the left and right of that center thingie so I could page with them...

Luckily, previous and next page are the first two items in the list...

Weird sort of behavior. That's exactly the stuff that irritates me to no end, to be honest. Hopefully Moon+ will implement a white interface to run on e-ink devices.

CoolReader has an option for a white interface, but it doesn't work: the interface actually becomes black on black.

Never mind, I didn't do this in AlReader. I had my Nexus next to me and counted down to which options I wanted to find on the T68 in apps I installed myself. Titanium Backup was particularly difficult, but it's a root app most probably won't use.

I did need my Nexus next to me forAlReader where there were a lot of options to choose from and the order of the options didn't make sense to me. Swiping up and down in a menu of course doesn't display well in eink until you stop at a particular spot.

The other way to do it is to find another control that's mapped to the same function, select that, and see which item in the list is selected.

Thanks. That's fine with me.

What I'm looking for is a high resolution front lit e-reader with page turn buttons. There isn't one, so I'm hoping this will do instead.

That's not going to happen. I'm sticking with the KPW for now, and keep this T68 in mind to take a look at on a few months. Maybe then there will also be better covers.

I much prefer the kobo screen. The touch looks more responsive on the kobo too.

I got my T68 from Amazon and so far it is the best e-reader that I have found; I got an Aura HD recently too that I am trying to return to Kobo for crashes (wish me luck - CC dispute started already).

I have had around 10 e-readers so far and this is the best one after rooted Nook Simple Touch. I replaced their launcher with Zeem (no frills, maintains top bar), installed ezPDFReader for PDF support, and use the default reader for ePub. Lot of my regular apps work fine as well except Firefox for some reason. I use Astro file manager to browse my library to launch books.

I am pleased as punch so far. Wonderful device.
