Also, I expect third party apps to start supporting the T68 page turn buttons within a few weeks, maybe even days. I've seen the button codes being posted already. Catching a button press event and executing the page turn routine in a program should be simple ![]() Last edited by Katsunami; 06-29-2014 at 04:03 PM. |

Got my Lynx, and so far I'm fairly pleased, although the page swipe detection could be a bit more sensitive. Looking forward to seeing how well Android apps support the device.

That was a good point made earlier about using the Kindle fire 7 inch cover. I have a couple of book color ones I will try.
Yay! Amaxon got it to me day earlier then expected. For the device, it looks great. I saw a negative review on Amazon saying the text isn't dark enough. But I definitely disagree. I really like having a built in back light, but agree with reviewers who say it's a bit bright. I install ed moon + reader pro, and it works fine. Even the page turn buttons work. I've only had it a few hours so far so ill update tomorrow after I really read on it. |

Dug out my Nook Color case and it almost fits, The case is just a little bit too tall. Good enough for now though.
[Image exceeds guidelines for size - MODERATOR] ETA: Does anyone know where to get drivers? I looked at the Onyx Boox website and found firmware and the faq, but no drivers. Unfortunately my computer sees it as a device, but not a device containing any storage or the sd card. I'm currently using Calibre Companion, but I'd like to be able to physically connect it to Calibre too. Last edited by Dr. Drib; 07-01-2014 at 07:43 AM. |

Does the full screen mode in moon+ pro work for anyone? When I have it on the icons and text in that top bar more or less disappear but the bar remains. The status bar does disappear when using any of the T68 stock readers so perhaps it's just a question of a software update.

After you plug your T68 into your PC via USB, a meny will appear on its screen. You need to click yes in order to enable the USB mode. |

Alas Nate the Great, that doesn't work for me. It seems to be loading only generic Android ADB drivers rather than anything specific. When I click okay to the message about turning on USB storage, the screen changes to a new one that says turn off usb storage, but no storage appears on my computer. The icon for the T68 shows up in my devices, but there's nothing I can do with it.
![]() Nevermind Ya'll, I uninstalled it from device manager and plugged it into a USB 3.0 port and it now appears!!! Sometimes the simple things work. Last edited by anabolina; 07-01-2014 at 02:37 PM. |

My T68 arrived five days ago. I'm pretty impressed with it overall. The pre-installed reading apps may not have the refinement and eye candy of the Kindle or Nook eReaders, but they all work well. The Onyx Reader is growing on me, as is Cool Reader, though I still prefer Moon Reader. The page turn buttons work with some third party apps but not others. There are a few rough edges, like needing to press an icon twice to get a response, but nothing that comes close to being a deal-breaker. My one issue is that, though some people have had no problems with Google Play Books, it crashes constantly for me, and I can't figure out why. The Kindle app works well. The Nook app has this odd diagonal line through the text, and will crash occasionally. Instapaper works fine. Logos Bible Software works very well. Overall, I'm very pleased.
If anyone has some suggestions about Google Play Store, I'll be grateful. Oh - some people have tried swapping the internal and external sd cards and have said that this arrangement makes the T68 run more slowly. Has anyone here tried this, or something like Folder Mount? Folder Mount works for me, but with larger folders it does seem to bog down the device quite a bit - so it may not be worth it. |

http://the-digital-reader.com/2014/0...ital+Reader%29 Vandevsr // Jun 25, 2014 at 12:17 pm I am confirming, this works also with the T68. I have swapped external and internal sdcards. Now the 2.27GB internal one (called “flash” by Onyx) is mounted as ext-sd (called “sdcard” by Onyx). And my external sd is the “SDCard” according to Android’s settings->apps. To do it I needed to be rooted first then I installed and purchased the Root Explorer app (by Speed software) and had root access. I used it to go to /etc/vold.fstab and mounted it as R/W and then used the Root Explorer’s text editor to change out the words “extsd” and “sdcard”. |

It would be nice if there was a way to increase the default font size in Onyx Reader, since it starts out about ten increases too small.

One question, did the reader allows to put the cover of the actual reading book as screensaver?. In similar way to niluje hack for kindle.
