Could sentient ice cream be taught to not freeze our brains? How about giving it the ability to scoop itself into big bowls? Or to bond with the other scoops on a nano level in order to prevent scoops falling apart and tumbling off the cone?

Granted - now you have thought of something more revolting and are so afraid of the thought that you cannot sleep.

I wish e-readers were less expensive so more people could buy them bringing down the price of e-books.

Granted - It's a prepaid vacation, you can't get your money back, the factory is closed for renovations and there is nothing else to do in town (or within 150miles).

I wish all the coffee drunk, by others, in the world today tastes as good as the cup I'm now drinking (and the cup i'm drinking is GOOD).

I wish I owned a 5,000-acre protected wildlife sanctuary, with the most incredibly diverse population of flora and fauna known in this hemisphere. Oh, yeah, and some kind of protective force-field/whatever to protect it against natural disaster, meteors, solar flares, etc.
