Well, the pain won't be gone completely for a while, but it should be WAY better almost immediately. And continue to improve over the next 6 months. Just be sure to really focus on doing your physio. (And not overdoing!) That's what will make the most difference in range of motion and overall comfort.

That's what they said the LAST time. But I feel overall better about this doc. They use nerve blocks to start with and I now have the genetic testing that proves I'm a mutant and morphine doesn't work on me. I'm going in with "NO MORPHINE" written on all limbs, and maybe my neck, in sharpie

The important thing this time is having a doc that listens to you, and really hears what you are saying ...

Definitely. And even though it very much wasn't what they told you to expect, it's what should happen with a TNR.

I think my boss must be channelling poohbear_nc's boss. First I tell him I did all of the new employee's setup except for one part that I didn't have permissions for, then he tells me to do something else, and after several back and forths wants to know why I haven't done the first thing which is what I already told him I couldn't do because I didn't have permissions. And gets annoyed that I don't. Of course it was his backdoor "fix" of his original setup of my account that caused this permission problem. Aaaarrrrrgggggh. Medicinal Talisker.
