I've read all the published ones. Typical Stephanie Laurens (I like her) with more mystery. I'm eagerly waiting for the next one.

I'm buying a lot of nook books since they gave me $150 in the ebook settlement. All the new ones are liberated and I'm going through the old ones I got before switching to kindle to make sure I have them all. I don't think the nook store will disappear, actually--it's too big a market segment, and someone will take it over if it comes to that-- but the devices are obviously on the way out.

![]() ![]() If you haven't read Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout [YA, PN for those who are interested], I hope you enjoy it. I've loved the series and am anxiously awaiting the last book this summer. |

[QUOTE=Blue2u;2852962]I was thinking the same thing. But since I'm tech-challenged myself didn't know how to help, but Calibre sure would be the easiest answer in this scenario!
Thanks to all of you for your advice and kind words! You made me feel better about this mess. Is there anyone in this group who has a Nook Touch and uses Calibre on it? I mainly want to know if it was worth doing it on a Nook Touch. I know that Mobile Read has a lot of help on using Calibre, too. Now, I'm sitting here wondering if I should ask B&N for a new Nook Touch since I got only this Nook for Christmas and I only started using it in January. Happy Reading! and Thanks again! Joan |

I do and it's worth it for me. I like having all my books together (since I buy from Kobo & occasionally Amazon too) with the ability to tag, sort, strip DRM, etc. There's no way to do the shelves but I wasn't keen on that functionality when it came out anyway. I archive everything I get through the B&N store and sideload what I want to read via Calibre.

Oyster is now available for Android. How is the selection of romance compared to Scribd? I also read a lot of YA and kids books. I guess it won't hurt to try it for the free month. (FYI: I discovered that if you want to browse the selection without signing up for a trial month, sign up on the Oyster website and just complete the page where you enter your name, email, and password. Then you can sign in on the app and browse the selection w/o actually downloading anything)

$.99 Against the Ropes - Sarah Castille
I read this one, gave it 4 stars. ![]() blurb: He scared me. He thrilled me. And after one touch, all I could think about was getting more... Makayla never thought she'd set foot in an elite mixed martial arts club. But if anyone needs a medic on hand, it's these guys. Then again, at her first sight of the club's owner, she's the one feeling breathless. The man they call Torment is all sleek muscle and restrained power. Whether it's in the ring or in the bedroom, he knows exactly when a soft touch is required and when to launch a full-on assault. He always knows just how far he can push. And he's about to tempt Makayla in ways she never imagined... |
