Amazon launched Prime Music as an incomplete service. Universal isn't on board yet. With only two of the three major labels present, it's little wonder so much is missing.

I'm just hoping there is chromecast support at some point, then it truly could replace my Pandora experience.

Anyone have an idea when this will work with the Fire TV?

Most likely: nicely! They will likely push it out in a few weeks time. Can't see them putting it on the phones and the tablets (it downloads lyrics, even) and not put it on the STB. I just hope they add it to their XBOX streaming video app. Or do a separate one. That I would use more often. |

I got the 7.4.9 update first (still no Prime Music) and then I checked an hour or so later, and Prime Music was there. You DO know it's not a regular app that shows up in your carousel or regular app list, right? You just access it through the regular "Music" menu. (Sorry, I don't mean to be condescending, I just don't know what you know, you know?) |

I was in that same position until saturday night. I left the tablet plugged in with WiFi on and checked it out a couple times a day since the announcement. Eventually it popped in. The tablet version is better than the phone version. Less buggy, too. |
