I'm glad that someone feels (much? some of?) the same way about Facebook as I do. However, I got an account several years ago, when it was still fairly new and I didn't realize how much I would hate it. There have been many times that I have seen things offered for free that I would like to have (I don't remember any ebooks, but there could have been one or more), but I would have to go to Facebook, go to the company's page, and click on "Like" to get the freebie. Usually, unless it is something that I very much want, I will not do it. There is something about having to do that that is annoying (aside from the fact that I may not really know yet whether or not I "like" that company).

If you want it as cheap as absolutely possible, and not really support them, then you should buy the deal as quickly as possible.

In my experience the average for Humblebundle does go up over time, but in this case I think it's gone down a little - when I bought the average was $9.36 but today the average is $9.27. A falling average would result from an increasing number of buyers taking the Pay What You Want option for the first tier of books. Generally though I have seen averages go up, although not always as high as I would expect. If you wait until the next week I bet the average goes up a dollar or more, if that. I haven't seen averages double or go even up by 50%. The highest ebook bundle average was the first one at $14.29. I was surprised that the first Recorded Book bundle only went to $6.50 - this one is already doing better). |

Anyone tried WS4V with a library book lately? It worked a couple weeks ago, but appears not to work with the books I checked out today.

I think that has disappeared, all the books on my wishlist that had qualified are now full price. It was nice while it lasted!

While I will miss this feature, I think I can still get value from Whispersync. Specifically, this lets me use Amazon gift cards at Audible. How? I can spend Amazon gift cards to get the Kindle title, and get the Audible version for a considerable discount. Since I get boo-koo Amazon $ from surveys and the like, it still feels like winning to me.

Oh, too bad. I wish I'd known; there were a few books I would have bought at the reduced price. What about the Kindle lending library books--are the corresponding Audible titles reduced for those? |

To me, right now, having Amazon gift cards is like having cash, as much as I spend with them.

Zoom Panel Opinion Outpost Harris Rewards Toluna There are also websites that reward participation (like viewing ads or doing searches) with Amazon GCs (among other options). Of these, Bing (yes, Microsoft) and Swagbucks are my favorites. I don't want to bog down this forum with this kind of thing, but if you find yourself interested in this sort of thing, PM me with an e-mail address and I will send you invitations to the ones that let me do that sort of thing (that way we can both benefit). I got my Samsung Galaxy 5 (which what I primarily use for audiobook listening, to bring this back on-topic) through Amazon gift cards I got for surveys, trade-ins, and selling other gift cards. This sort of thing can be very lucrative if you take the time. skinmaan
