I would be interested only in the one and only non-fiction offering, How Music Works by David Byrne, but I'd really like to have it. $8.91 is probably more than my budget can stand right now, but I notice that Audible's price is $26.95 (ack!) . . . .

If I paid the $8.91, does anyone know if it would be possible and permissible for me to give away the other audiobooks to someone else, since I wouldn't want them? If it is possible and permissible, I'm thinking that maybe I could send them to Dropbox or something like that.

I did go for the second tier, which was at $7.20 at the time and I paid $7.40, and that non-fiction book was one of the 2 books that I had no interest in.

If you download the books and pass the download files on, there's no way for them to know that someone else listened to them instead of you, but whether it's legal is another question.

So the average has gone up a bit . . . . Do you know (or anyone HELLO) know if the average will tend to go up over time?

This may be one of those situations where I actually need to read the agreement before I click "agree."

From past Humble Bundles, it appears that yes, the average will go up. Mainly because one of the options is "pay more than average" to unlock.

While it's technically possible to give someone the file, copyright for digital content generally prohibits sharing since there is no way to prevent you from keeping a copy when you pass it on. The bundle has a gift option, but that doesn't sound like what you want, since splitting up the bundle is your goal and certainly is not the aim of this type of deal.

The average price does tend to rise over the first few days, then again when the special surprise is revealed, but it doesn't go up that much.

I had a sneaking suspicion that for some reason that it wouldn't be permitted, and it kinda makes sense.

Like someone said, it is for charity (I had forgotten that). I think that I'll just go ahead and buy the whole 2nd tier. Maybe years from now I'll develop an interest in fiction.
