All I know is that Entitle's DRM scheme makes Scribd sound better and better. At least it doesn't mess up all your other ePub reading apps.

Except for the fact that Scribd's app is so bad that I can't even use it free. I find the font difficult to read - the sans serif looks a lot like serif to me and I can't stand the double spacing. I'm getting 15 - 17 lines of text per page on a 7 in tablet.

In the demo shown here...
https://www.entitlebooks.com/alt-reader ...it shows the Steve Jobs book being downloaded as an ePub. I thought the service sounded kinda interesting at first, but if I have to de-authorize my computer every time I download from these guys and then re-authorize so I can download from every other bookstore & library that makes it very unappealing. |
