Hotkey to open most recent book?

			Hello everyone!

I was wondering, is there a hotkey (or a command I can assign a hotkey to in the preferences) to continue reading the most recently read book? I know that I can use the dropdown menu of the View button and select the topmost entry, but this requires the mouse. I would like to be able to do the exact same thing with a keyboard shortcut. Please?

You could put View in the context menu, hit the menu key (assuming your OS and kb support such a thing), and then use the arrow keys. BR (fellow mouse hater) |

Hadn't even thought of that, nice. Sadly, it's not much of an improvement - the context menu has no hotkeys that I can see, so you'd have to use the arrow keys a lot. Saves me from using the wretched mouse, but it's not much of an advantage in terms of speed.

While focused in Calibre: Press (I believe it's called) the Menu key (key to the right of the right windows button) to open (what I think is called?) the context (=to right click of the mouse) menu Down arrow to View Right arrow to get to that menu Down arrow to first topmost entry I know, too many steps! (another mouse hater) (I actually started this before the first reply LOL) (You could actually move View to the top of the Context menu if you so desire... less 'downs'!) @CeeDub - I know its counter-intuitive but I prefer to put the frequently used items at the bottom of the context menu and use the up arrow key

Bug Reports and Enhancement Requests go here ==>> Bugs : calibre It would be nice if the calibre context menu used the first letter as a default accelerator key, a'la the windows shell. BR |
